Photo Folder Workshop

Yes I know it has been ages since I blogged I don't know where the time has gone . Really I don't.
But anyway here are the pictures of Saturday's photo folder class.
Kits are just £8.00 for this one and you will end up with a lovely folder that will hold 8 - 10 4" x 6" photos.
Great to send to long distance friends at christmas or anytime of the year really. Plenty of space for journalling too.
You can book your place here

Making Plans for Christmas

This is the Christmas Planner that we will be making at the next Skrapz Crop on October 5th.
We will be using colours similar to these but not necessarily the same patterns.
You will need to bring your paper trimmer, fancy edge scissors, adhesives and 4x 6" x 4" photos and 10 passport size photos. You will of course get everything in the kit that you need but feel free to bring along any embellishments from your own stash. You may find it useful to bring your own inks as well . If you haven't booked onto the class yet you can do it here.

Caroline's Pot Luck Class - Revealed

Caroline's class was a huge success on Saturday. Her altered travel tin was really well recieved at the crop and lots of people said how much they enjoyed the class.

Caroline used the Noir Blanc Range by Tinkering Ink to decorate her Tin and embellished with ribbons, brads and stamps. What a great way to spend a dull Saturday.

Next month's class is the Christmas planner book with Ann. Pics to follow soon.

The Wedding Album has begun

With my sister's wedding fast approaching I thought I'd better make a start on the album. Especially as I am giving it to her and Chris as their present. Anyway this is the engagement page. The background paper is K and Co bought years ago - I knew I would need it! I used CWAE heart but tilted it and took it off the page the piece I cut off I used for the title. My favourite part is the turn from Buzz and Bloom. It says he loves me/he loves me not. I just chalked this with white as I thought paint would be too heavy. Finished off with a huge diamante brad from Delish Designs.

Another Layout

I'm getting the hang of this blog stuff now, I think. Anyway here is another layout I have completed this week. I started it at Kathy's crop but just added the journalling yesterday. I don't do many pages with Steve on but I rather liked these photos.
I started with a sheet of Bazzill Bling as the base and a black CWAE circle. Then I used the Noir Blanc Range by Tinkering ink. The monograms and diecuts and finished it off with a slpash of red using the felt ribbon. Hope you like it.

A Busy Weekend

It was a great weekend and I was able to finish off a few projects while Billy played in the garden I love this layout of Billy's third Birthday. It was such fun to do. I have backed the Buzz and Bloom Headstart Partytime chipboard onto Basic Grey Balloons paper from the Cupcake Collection. I decorated the chipboard with acrylic paint and then embossed it with clear and sparkly embossing powder. finally I added three organza bows to finish it off. Billy loves it!

This little tab book is also from Buzz and Bloom again I used acrylic paint to decorate the tabs and then just Bazzill and some stickers for the covers. Inside I have added some acetate pages and some cardstock pages just so I could put in a few more pictures. Two book rings and loads of ribbon complete the picture.

This picture of Billy in this great great great grandfathers christening gown was taken when Billy was just 4 weeks old. I have used Provincial Fare cardstock by Tinkering Ink. I have also used the Provincial Fare cardstock stickers and rubons and then added a few diamantes.

While Caroline's away

Caroline left for the States yesterday and I am soooooooooooooo jealous. She is going to see friends from when she used to live in Virginnia but she is also armed with scrapbook shopping lists and lots of instructions about what to look for and what to buy. She has a budget lets hope she sticks to it!! I'm sure she will she is better at that than me.

Just before she left we took delivery of some great chipboard pieces from Australian Company Buzz and Bloom. This stuff is fantastic. We have chipboard tab books with dinosaurs on, unicorns or flowers. Alphabets and flowers, frames, borders and loads more. In fact before I go on I must go and take some pictures so that you can see what I am talking about.

I have a blog

I've been thinking of starting a blog for a while now and here I am. I have no idea how this works or even how often I will be able to update my blog but I will give it a go. As you can will probably realise by now my first few posts will be purely experimental till I work out how this thing works.
